Diamond Aluminum Foil Tape consists of an aluminum foll backing, combined with a high performance adhesive and protected by an easy release silicone paper liner. Diamond Aluminum Foil Tape is avallable in three types: Hot Melt-based, Solvent-based and FR Grade.
Features:
• Aluminum foil backing gives excellent reflection of both heat and light.
• The aggressive adhesive gives a very high Initial tack and a permanent bonding for Insulation applications.
• Suitable for masking in electroplating of aluminum due to its non-contamination properties.
• For FR Grade Aluminum Foil Tape: It consists of FR Grade Class 0 backing + Flame Retardant Solvent Acrylic Adhesive which provides a wide application temperature range.
Applications:
• Used for joining and sealing Foil-Scrim-Kraft facing laminated fiber glass blanket in the HVAC Industry.
For laminating parts of an air conditioning ducting system.
