Incoloy 800HT Plate is ableto remain stable and maintain its austenitic structure even after long time exposures to high temperatures. They are an alloy of nickel, iron and chromium. It possesses more than the strength to withstand the basic stress caused by heat. Incoloy 800 Sheet exhibits good ductility and hence can be formed using conventional methods. It can be annealed after cold working. And annealing should be done at 982°C for 15 min and then it should be air cooled. Alloy 800 Plates strength and resistance makes it versatile that is not found in many alloys. They are are useful for applications such as heating elements, heat exchanger, carburising equipment and sheathing and nuclear steam generator tubing.
